The Community Adult Learning Network (CALNet)
features over 200 Adult Learning Centres (ALC)
located throughout the province of New Brunswick. These sites
offer a range of services to ensure that the needs of adult leaners
are taken care of in their own communities. They provide a
means for New Brunswickers to improve and upgrade their skills.
ALC's have access to technology and the necessary resources to help
learners reach their goals. All sites are managed by a
regional committee, which is made up of volunteers from the local
area. This ensures that local culuture is part of service
delivery and that community needs are responded to.
The province makes a major investment in the development
and in the delivery of services for all ALC's in New Brunswick to
provide a high quality and efficient program.
